I read once that Martha Stewart prepares a pitcher of water with lemons daily.
I love this Citrus Water Punch,
but that is def more punch than water πŸ˜‰

To my pitcher I add 1 lemon + 1 tsp. citric acid.
It gives it a very noticeable citrus flavor.
I will sometimes add 1 TBSP. sugar to cut the sourness. 
It doesn’t even taste sweet – it just takes the edge off the tartness.

Although, maybe I will just skip the citric acid altogether so I can avoid the sugar.  Or just add less.  The point here is so that I have something else besides my iced tea – which has sugar.  Ha!
